System Design and Construction Standards

All Cable Television design and construction will meet or exceed all FCC technical standards and requirements.

Specifically, our cable specifications will include:

Plant and Distribution
All construction of "Plant and Distribution" will consist of at a minimum, 750 MHz PIII 750 and 500 cable with capacity of 500 channels. All drop cable will be home run from the room to the wiring closet and will consist of RG6 with 67% braid or better.

Head-end
The head-end receiving equipment will consist of state-of-the-art electronic components (digital satellite receivers and off-air processors)

Construction Costs
All associated costs including permits, materials and labor required to design and build the cable system will be the responsibility of College Cable.

Customer Service and System Maintenance
Week day operations - College Cable will maintain 24 hour, 7 days a week, active customer service phone lines. Our customer service representatives answer this number from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For service calls made after business hours, weekends, and holidays, this line is covered by our emergency service requests to our 24 hour "on call" technicians.

Maintenance
College Cable technical service personnel will examine the television signal receiving equipment weekly for quality of signal distribution. If signal quality degrades during the week, College Cable technicians are on call to correct the problem 24 hours a day.

Maintenance Cost
All cable maintenance costs are the responsibility of College Cable.
